This is a big meeting where organizations have the possibility to establish contact for future projects. I represented F.J.T ( Brasov County Federation of Youth NGO`s) and Mihai A.T.Z (Association of Young Journalists).

We went there on Tuesday the 7th of December. We went by train from Brasov , by Budapest – Vienna – Hannover to Magdeburg . The trip took 26 hours, but we had comfortable trains, so it was no problems. We arrived to the seminar on Wednesday evening.

The seminar took place in a big house, a kind o education centre. We lived in rooms located just next to the place.

During the first evening did we only learn knowing the other participants. It was more than 40 people from 14 countries all over Europe , representing about 25 organizations.

Next day we began the work, we had a varied program. Some hours we got information about things related to international youth work, some times we worked in groups with different tasks, we had also time for individual meetings with organizations we found interesting.

During the evenings we had different activities. One of them were “International evening” were every country served typical food and drinks and made some kind of performance related to their country, for example sang a song, showed pictures, played a game or something else. We showed a short movie from Romania and served palinka, the palinka was very popular! It was very funny to see and taste everyone’s specialties. Another evening we went in to Magdeburg and visited the big Christmas-market.

On Sunday morning it was time to leave. We went with the train from Magdeburg 07.00 in the morning and arrived in Brasov about 11.00 o clock next day.

Both of us were very satisfied with the week. It was very fun to meet all new people from so many different countries. We have established many new contacts for our organizations and got many new friends all over Europe .
